Rebuild Custom Admin in WordPress
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
My current website runs on pure PHP with a home-grown admin area. I need that same back-end experience rebuilt inside WordPress so I can manage everything from the WP dashboard instead of juggling two separate systems.
Here’s what you will be working with
• A zipped copy of the existing admin panel that you can spin up locally in XAMPP. This lets you see every screen, field, and category exactly as it functions now.
• A list of all present content categories, which must appear in WordPress exactly as they do today.
Core scope
– Recreate the content-management flow from the old panel: I need to create, edit, and delete pages as intuitively in WordPress as I do now.
– Include an SEO settings section for each page so I can set titles, meta descriptions, and other on-page tags without another plugin.
– Keep the category structure intact; pages should map cleanly to their existing categories once imported or created.
Deliverables
1. A WordPress-ready solution (plugin, custom post type setup, or themed functions—whatever best mirrors the original workflow) installed on a fresh WP install.
2. SQL or import procedure to migrate current categories and sample pages for testing.
3. Brief README outlining how I can add new categories, adjust SEO fields, and perform core page actions.
Acceptance check
When I can log into WordPress, navigate to a familiar “Pages” area, replicate every action from the old panel, and set SEO details per page—all without errors—the project is complete.
The original code is ready to share as soon as we start, and I’m available for quick feedback if anything is unclear.
