Real Estate Website Completion and Optimization

Job Title: MLS IDX Integration + Yelp + Mapbox + Speed Optimization for Real Estate WordPress Site



Job Description:

We’re looking for a skilled WordPress developer to help finalize and optimize our luxury real estate website (thebessongroup.com). The site is nearly complete — we just need a professional to handle 4 remaining tasks:



Tasks:

1. IDX Broker / MLS Integration
• Connect our existing IDX Broker account to the live WordPress site
• Ensure MLS listings display properly on the designated pages
• Troubleshoot sync or shortcode issues if needed

2. Yelp Widget Integration

• Add and style a Yelp review or business badge on the homepage/About section
• Make sure it shows nearby cafe, restaurant, schoool etc

3. Mapbox Setup

• Integrate Mapbox to show property pins or static locations
• Style the map to match site branding
• Ensure full mobile responsiveness

4. Speed Optimization
• Audit current performance (site currently loads slowly)
• Optimize images, scripts, and caching
• Recommend or configure plugins (e.g. LiteSpeed, WP Rocket)
• Target load time under 3 seconds


Requirements:
• Experience with IDX Broker, MLS, and Mapbox API
• Strong WordPress and Elementor skills
• Familiarity with performance tools like GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights
• Ability to write or tweak frontend CSS/JS
• Real estate project experience preferred



Deliverables:
• Functional IDX listing display
• Live and styled Yelp widget
• Mobile-ready Mapbox integration
• Improved site speed score (mobile + desktop)
