Performance Max Google Ads Optimization(wordpress french website)

I am currently utilizing Google Ads, specifically Performance Max, to increase my website traffic. My goal is to further optimize this advertising platform to yield the best results.
I have completed the settings of Google advertising account, GMC, GTM, etc., but the conversion effect is not good. I need to do the following things.
1) My website is a WordPress multi-lingual website, mainly advertising Google P Max in France.
2) Check the configuration google advertising account/google merchant center settings and ensure that the gmc feed settings are imported correctly
3) Conversion tracking, check and improve performance tracking. Adjust ads based on product conversion effects. Please set it up and tell us how to make the corresponding marketing configuration.
