Password protected member portal to list various services in a marketplace format.
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking to work with someone on creating a password protected, members only side of my website. Basically a “marketplace” layout, but serves to show our members what vendors we’re partnered with in various categories. Listed below is the description of the scope of work I need help in accomplishing this:
1. Main Website (www.hpamembers.com) is Wordpress based with the page builder being Divi Builder by Elegant Themes. I would like to continue to stay with Divi Builder for the life of this project, I don’t like Elementor.
What I need for this project:
1. Create a child site to host the members only side of the webpage with the following sub-domain: portal.hpamembers.com. When a member logs in on our primary home page, it would take them into the sub-domain at portal.hpamembers.com where everything would live on the password protected side.
2. I will be using MemberPress plugin to manage the password protected, members side of the website. I’ve already installed this plugin to the main site and basically have the registration and sign-up parts completed. Please only apply if you know how to set up and use MemberPress.
3. Set up the home page of the MemberPress home page once a user logs in. This would include:
a. A main page to serve as the primary landing page after they successfully log in.
b. On the main page. A filter plugin to allow the members to search for various services with listings dynamically changing depending on what they do in the drop-down options filter and/or button options.
c. A search filter field to do the same thing by typing in a search word.
d. Setup for displaying those services. Functionality features would operate pretty similar to Divi Marketplace @ https://www.elegantthemes.com/marketplace . This includes :
i. a hover over feature that gives further basic details of that particular service on the main page.
e. Setup of a single "details page" that would take the customer to a specific page giving all the information if they were to click on a specific service on the main page. Refer to this page as an example: https://www.elegantthemes.com/marketplace/divi-pixel/
f. Possibly using this plugin for the filtering and display features we will need: https://www.elegantthemes.com/marketplace/divi-filtergrid/
I am open to other suggestions as well, such as woocommerce plugins as long as the same goals are met and the GUI is attractive and simple.
Our members pay a monthly membership fee to have access to the members-only section of our site. All the information is available to them for free on the members side, but it would be nice to eventually add some other services or solutions for additional fees.
I am able to do most of this work myself, but I am too busy to complete this within a reasonable timeline, so I’m looking to work with someone on this to get things rolling, get the functionally and infrastructure setup, and work with me to ensure the project gets completed.
Whoever we work with will likely have continued work on this project as we continue to make additions and refinements to the user interface.
"Stage 1" timeline to complete this is about 30 days. Stage 1 includes all of the basic infrastructure is set up and working properly. I can add the additional services and detail pages for those services over time. If this works well, then maybe you can help me to speed things up.
Please feel free to ask questions about this project.
Thanks,
Grant
