Page Builder and Website Maintenance Specialist (Part-Time, 4 Hours/Day, Mon to Fri)
Budget: $2 – $8 CAD
We’re a performance-focused growth marketing agency running paid traffic and structured marketing systems for values-led businesses. Designs and strategy are already defined internally - now we’re looking for a technically reliable Page Builder & Website Maintenance Specialist to execute builds and protect website stability.
This is not a branding role.
This is not a UX strategy role.
This is not a creative direction.
Your role is to take approved layout designs, existing client-approved page structures, text, images and structured requirements and turn them into stable, responsive, and technically sound web assets.
This is a part-time role (4 hours/day, Monday–Friday) to start, with opportunities to expand as we scale.
>What We’re Looking For
- Someone technically comfortable building landing pages using approved designs, existing pages, and previously approved content blocks.
- Someone experienced with WordPress and Elementor.
- A structured thinker who understands layout hierarchy, spacing, and responsive behavior.
- Someone who can duplicate existing pages, replace text and images, and make the new content fit cleanly without unnecessarily changing the established design.
- A calm problem-solver who does not panic when something breaks.
- Someone who knows how to use tools like ChatGPT responsibly to assist troubleshooting (without blindly copying code).
- A disciplined executor who respects scope and escalates instead of redesigning independently.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge and broader website maintenance experience are considered bonuses, but they are not required for the core page-building role.
>Responsibilities
>>Page Building & Implementation
- Build landing pages, blog posts, and other website pages using approved layout designs, existing client-approved pages, or established content blocks.
- When appropriate, duplicate an existing page and replace the text and images while maintaining the established structure and styling.
- Use the lowest-risk implementation approach when adding new content.
- Reuse existing content blocks and page patterns whenever possible rather than introducing an entirely new layout.
- Ensure any new sections remain aligned with the client’s existing brand guidelines and previously approved website designs.
- Only build a new or substantially different layout when there is a clear reason and the design has been approved.
- Work from designs supplied by the graphic designer when a page requires additional design work.
- Ensure responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Maintain design accuracy (spacing, typography, alignment, hierarchy).
- Make sure the required page components are included and that links click through to the correct destinations.
- Connect forms, buttons, and approved integrations.
- Ensure tracking scripts and embedded assets remain intact during builds.
- Avoid changing global components, styles, buttons, or layouts that could unintentionally affect other pages across the website.
>>Website Maintenance & Stability
- Update pages when requested (copy edits, image replacements, layout changes, section adjustments).
- Fix layout breaks or responsiveness issues.
- Maintain site structure and prevent formatting conflicts.
- Monitor for broken links or visual inconsistencies.
- Ensure stability after updates or edits.
- Take care not to break, remove, or unintentionally modify other parts of a page or website while completing an update.
- Assist with basic website maintenance, backups, and updates when needed and when experience allows.
>>Technical Troubleshooting
- Diagnose layout or CSS conflicts.
- Investigate script or integration issues.
- Use browser developer tools to identify structural problems.
- Test fixes in staging or safe environments before publishing.
- Escalate issues that affect strategy, funnel logic, or structural architecture.
>>Performance & Structural Awareness
- Maintain clean page structure and organized sections.
- Be aware of script load impact and basic page speed considerations.
- Protect tracking integrity during edits or builds.
- Flag potential risks before pushing live.
>Requirements
- Experience building landing pages and website pages, primarily using WordPress and Elementor.
- Experience safely reusing existing pages, templates, and client-approved content blocks.
- Familiarity with Squarespace, Wix, Shopify, or similar platforms is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Organized workflow and file management habits.
- Reliable availability (4 hours/day, Mon–Fri).
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge, comfort using browser developer tools, and website maintenance experience are considered assets but are not required.
>Job Details
- Hours: 4 hours/day, Monday–Friday.
- Rate: $2-3/hr CAD, based on experience
- Term: Ongoing, with potential to expand over time.
>To Apply
Please send the following:
- A short introduction summarizing your experience with page building and website maintenance.
- 2–3 examples of landing pages or website pages you’ve built, especially in WordPress or Elementor.
- The platform you’re strongest with (WordPress, Elementor, Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, etc.).
- A brief explanation of how you would safely add a new section to an existing client website without disrupting the established design or other pages.
- A brief explanation of your troubleshooting process when a live landing page breaks.
