Optimize database in Wordpress to speed up website
Budget: €18 – €36 EUR
- Website is Wordpress
- Template is Astra Pro, but only as a shell for the functionalities. No theme imported.
- Gutenberg is page builder
- WooCommerce also installed
- Various optimization plugins are installed already, I don't want to change anything there.
- Installed speed plugins: Hummingbird Pro, Perfmatters, Rank Math SEO Pro, Smush Pro
A manual database optimization is the last (?) step to improve performance. I need somebody who knows everything about this.
Current speed stats:
- PageSpeed Insights mobile: 86/100, desktop: 99/100
The website still feels slow though - surprisingly.
Loading time in Google Analytics is 3.02 seconds per page on average, for example. In Google Ads, the speed scores are also low: 4/10.
Hosting: shared hosting. Number of visitors: 10.000 a month. I know a VPS would be faster, but I called with the hosting company and they don't believe they could easily improve there with an other shared hosting package. Given our current number of visitors, a VPS seems overdone.
I need a pro with a lot of experience who knows everything about Wordpress database optimization.
Thank you
