Old Apache 2 - Wordpress site broken and needs fixing

Recently the virtual server we rent for our websites went down, and since it has come back up our most important site has gone down and is stuck on the Apache 2 test page. The person we hired to build the sites over a decade ago is now unavailable and my knowledge isn't anywhere near enough to fix this myself. We need the site to be brought back up, as it contains data that we have no backups for.
We might also want the site to be transferred over to a simpler and cheaper online website hosting solution.
