New wordpress theme blog migration from an old wordpress theme

I have an old WordPress website that I am currently redesigning (using a new WordPress theme). My old WordPress blog has 218 posts and I want it to be moved to my new blog section. You also need to modify the new blog before moving the old posts. This will mean small edits because the blog will be 95% the same as it is in the new WordPress theme which I am currently using for the new design.
