Need paywall and subscription feature for WordPress-based publishing site
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I have a publication site that provides exclusive articles and data, and I plan to make it a paid subscription site. I'm looking for a developer with much experience with paywalls for content. I'd like to use either Paid Memberships Pro or MemberPress, though I'd consider other plug-ins or a straight customization of WooCommerce.
Please note: if you no experience building subscription features for premium content--especially with PMPro or MemberPress--or just want to sell a high-price hourly contract, please do not respond.
I plan to offer yearly subscriptions with an option for corporate or group subscriptions with multiple "seats." Companies should be able to add an unlimited number of seats with each additional seat at a given price. I also need the ability for readers to purchase single articles.
I need to be able to preview content and to offer discounts and free articles and free subscriptions. I also need to enable readers to enter their VAT numbers if they have one. The payments processor will be Stripe.
I've had a paywall developed before, so some features are already on my news site and may be usable.
There are a few other tasks for the site, as well. And I'm hoping the developer can help maintain and troubleshoot the site after my subscription service is activated and changes made . This could be on an hourly basis, but setting up the subscription service is a fixed contract. I'm open to some negotiation on the fixed price if it's justified.
I need someone who can start soon. I prefer individuals over agencies. The important thing is for the developer to be an expert in this area. Please include links showing your experience that has worked on paywalls for subscription-based content.
