Need a WordPress server fixed/built

I am working to bring up my own dedicated WordPress server so I can move a site hosted in the cloud down to the server. The hosting costs are just too high and the hosting site's limitations are becoming a real problem. I already have a physical server with LAMP installed. I tried to get WP installed but it is not loading when I http/https call to the server Apache loads but not WP. I have not figured out why so I need someone to figure it out and get it fixed.
