I have a wordpress site quite recently built. I am trying to get the site to work for the business and not the business work around the site. The current developer doesnt seem to be able to find a solution...
I will be droppshiping items from many providers - to many different countries. The product provider will usually ship the items - direclty to the customer. 90% of the time but not always. AND the prroviders sell all different products with all different shipping costs.

Here lies the problem - the developer says that wordpress doest work like this and I must establish a base set of shipping costs for all items to be applied at checkout. I have asked repeatedly for some other solution to to allow us to add the shipping costs at the time of entering the product - maybe a different table of costs per line of products..

I dont know if this is even possible and may not need a developer - I may need to pay just to discuss the site for a period of time - someone who isnt the guy i am talking to right now to either confirm what he is saying or make suggestions I can pass on.

I know this guy for some years which is why I asked him to help initially...
