Make a small adjustment to our Vue.JS based WordPress website (WilCity theme) -- 2

We need someone who is capable of working with both Vue.JS and PHP. We have a listing directory website built with the theme called WilCity.
The problem that needs to be resolved: on search page (https://wilcity.com/search-v2/?postType=listing&postsPerPage=10) if you select the "Category" filter, it loads all categories. We would only like to load the first 20 of the list, and load the next 20 when the user scrolls to the bottom of the currently loaded categories. Besides this we want to keep the "Search" feature available above the category selector, so that the user could still search in all of the list of categories, even if they are not currently displayed in the Category list. We need to make this adjustment, so that the categories list doesn't take that much time to load up on slower machines.
