Make my Woo Store PLugins Play nice
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Seeking a WordPress DEVELOPER who can jump in to resolve some frustrating back end issues with my newly soft-launched merch site, integrated with Gelato for POD. I am personally well experienced with site-building in WP (and Drupal), and extensively with css, but this project has some issues that go deeper than my previous projects – here debugging by elimination (disabling plugins, reinstalling etc) is not enough. This should be a small job for a competant developer but, assuming a job well done here, I will likely have future, ongoing requirements.
**Core Requirements:**
- **Debugging Skills:** Identify the root causes of specific issues .
- **Optimisation:** Check hosting and resource consumption.
**Specific Problems to Address:**
- **Product Variations Not Generating:** Product population is held back without this.
- **Filter Plugins Unstable:** Some plugins fail intermittently.
- **General Instability:** Beyond the specifics, the site often behaves unpredictably, andhostinger complains of resource consumption, and the staging site has issues of its own. Check hosting and site settings.
- **Review php error messages:** with debug on, a number of errors are showing - will want to be sure any remaining errors are not critical.
- **Staging :** The staging site's admin has unaccountable css not loading for recently installed plugins - which don't happen when installed on the production site.
**Likely Follow up jobs:**
- **Staging Optimisation:** Support instaWP implemented standing without the resource blowout that happened on a previous attempt.
- **CSS Editor Plugin Optimisation:** Custom CSS has often been stale - failing to update.
**Skills and Experience Needed:**
- Proven track record with WP / Woo troubleshooting and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of PHP & JS in a WP and hosting context.
- English speaking and available for audio(/video) conversation - text is fine much of the time but an intial conversation, at least, can help establish understanding.
