Integrate TinyMCE Cloud with BuddyPress
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I'm looking for an experienced developer to make the TinyMCE Cloud version compatible with the BuddyPress rich textarea.
Buddypress uses the implemented TinyMce version 4.9 on its rich text field. This is quite old and lacks on improvements.
Therefore I would like to implement TinyMce version 7 by cloud. Problem: If using the cloud version over the implemented one there are conflicts. Switching off the implemented one makes buddypress unable to use the rich textarea which results in stripping off html.
There are two possible solutions to make bullet lists work:
A. Replace the implemented one with the cloud version. Not only switch off the implemented one. For that you have to have an understanding of the wp-editor function.
B. If no replace is possible make the profile and edit page in buddypress not stripping off html to use lists. For this you need to know how and where to hook in safely.
Requirements: Make bullet and numeric lists usable at the buddypress profile and edit page with the TinyMce 7 cloud version.
Ideal candidates for this project should have a deep understanding of both TinyMCE and BuddyPress, with a proven track record of integrating the two.
