Instagram Embed Issue for Safari Mobile

Website run on Wordpress 5.7.8
Using standard instagram embed code from instagram website. Works fine in chrome and firefox but on safari on an iphone, the embedded instagram post doesn't display, and instead displays the white box with "view this post on instagram". Wordpress, cdn, and safari caches have been cleared. This has been tested on multiple iphone devices. Safari on Mac and Chrome on any device is fine.
Access will not be given to the backend of the website but need a solution/fix or code to remedy this issue. It only started happening recently. Previously it used to render on safari on iphone without any issues.
