Import Medium ZIP export to Wordpress

I have a ZIP export file from Medium with about 800 posts (HTML files), but my WordPress site doesn't allow import from Medium, it needs to be a xml file. mediumtowp.com doesn't work either, gives me an error.
So your task is to find a way to import them to Wordpress, and remove the footer and make sure it looks more or less decent.
