Hockey camp/ events webbsite
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Website should be based in wordpress and main focus would be a travel agency/ airplaine booking search engine as a starting point.
Page will be foremost in Swedish, but with options to create multi-lingual version, first of all english, danish, swedish and finnish.
Main purpose of webbsite would be for parents or kids to find a suitable hockey camp first of all in Sweden, but extendable to Norwegian, Danish and other European countries hockey camps/ events.
The site will also be possible to extend to US and Canada camps/ events. Short and simple starting with Swedish then extendable to all other countries where such camps/ events can be found.
Would prefer add-on to Wordpress such as SearchWp or Relevanssi f-inst or others if suggestions suitable for this search engine in site.
Camp info that should be searchable by users are as follows:
- period of camp (start and end date of camp)
- age groups available at this camp
- Date for last application to event.
- location (place, region and country) - if possible use my location to calculate distance from where i live.
- Arrangement of sleep-over facilities (internat in Swedish) at location, if yes - click this off - if only off location (partnership with hotels etc), thn state this and potentially which hotel with webblink and eventcode to be used for booking.
- Discounts if more than one books (siblings f-inst).
- Reviews by users been to these events/ camps - a rating with star system one to five stars where five are best. Be able to search for ratings - for inst. users would like to search for camps with 4 or more starts or only 5 star events/ camps.
Possible for users to put in free text which would be accompanying the rating. If given two or less stars - mandatory to state what was not satisfactory with the event/ camp.
When users enter the search engine he/she would be prompted to a basic search window with options to choose camps according to age interval and boys or girls-only camp or mixed camps. Like you f-inst see in tripadvisor to choos topic first and then search with period to select.
Agoda.com has also a way to select search which could be good. Booking.com also has a good search engine start up, where place, period, and age of kid would be starting point.
Extraction of data from cuponline.se would be nice source of data to be used as input for only hockey camps. Here you can observe the age classification used in search (sök cup) function of this site.
The webbsite should also have an overview and search function of colleges and highschools (gymnasium, högskoloro, universitet) with hockey or sports as part of their curriculum (sportsgymnasiums in Sweden and universities offering studies with sports as part of their curriculum. List of these will be provided with details required.
