Help with Elementor + WP

I am setting up a wordpress woocommece shop with a template that is using Elementor.
In the website I need help with 2 things:
The products displayed on the page should be sorted by publication date, but user can have an option to change sorting parameters, for example from price etc... So it need to be added a dropdown list on top of the pages which allow user to choose sorting parameter...
The website contain 6 main product categories. If viewing a specific product categpry then the filtering system on the page should only show categories on the assosiated with this main category...
