Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I run a small local business that sells handmade crafts and I’m ready to move from social-media sales to a dedicated online store. I need a developer who can take me from concept to launch in roughly three to four weeks.
Platform
I’m comfortable with either WordPress (WooCommerce) or Shopify—use whichever stack lets you deliver a fast, secure storefront without bloated plug-ins or theme lock-in.
Core scope
• Responsive design that looks and feels native on mobile, tablet, and desktop
• Product gallery with easy-to-update categories and variant options
• Shopping cart and checkout that supports Stripe and PayPal out of the box
• Contact form routed to my business email with basic spam protection
• On-page SEO basics (clean URLs, metadata, image alt tags) so Google can pick us up quickly
Acceptance criteria
1. Pages load in under three seconds on a 4G mobile connection.
2. All key pages—home, product detail, cart, checkout, contact—score 90+ on Google Lighthouse mobile.
3. Storefront passes a short UAT checklist I’ll provide (adding a product to cart, completing a test order, submitting the contact form).
4. I receive a short hand-off document and a 30-minute walkthrough so I can manage inventory and content myself.

I’d like to keep the total within my $500–$800 window, split into sensible milestones: design approval, functional prototype, and final launch.
