Fix issue with location search on Wordpress website (Uses Google Places API)

My client has a Wordpress directory website using "classipress" theme. The website use Google Places API to perform a proximity search based on a location entered by the user. Today the search is returning zero results for all searches that are performed. I need someone to fix it.

I cannot see an issue with Google API (Google maps API for example is working fine on the website, and it uses the same API key as Google Places).
