Fix issue elementor page to home page

Hi,
I have a issue that I cant solve - I made a landing page in Elementor that I want to use now as a homepage.
I reading in WP you can normally select the page you want as home page but it is not appearing. I used a elementor template.
I need someone that can fix this issue.
Should not be too complicated but I dont know where to look. I guess thats mostly the problem know where too look.
So if someone can do this for me and can also explain it to me what the problem is then I am more then happy.
