Fix Wordpress Slow Loading and Timeouts
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a WordPress website that has a lot of accumulated content, about 20,000 posts over 13 years, and moderate to low traffic of about 30 people online at any given time. It has suddenly started loading extremely slowly, going from taking less than 5 seconds to taking as long as 25 seconds or more, with pages and functions often simply timing out.
I need someone to go in, identify the problem, and implement a solution that will allow the website to resume loading at a normal, fast speed.
These are the requirements for this project.
1. The website is very complex, with multiple plugins, and an integration to an app on a second server. No functions should be disrupted or broken during this process, and all functions will be tested afterwards.
2. When the problem is resolved I need to know what the issue was and how it was resolved, so that I can monitor for future problems.
3. We will need a few days after the solution is implemented to test and ensure that normal daily usage doesn’t cause the issue to return.
