Fix WooCommerce Stripe Redundancy
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Background:
Stripe sent me a notice that the current Stripe Payment Gateway plugin on my site will be discontinued due to my outdated WordPress version. I cannot update WordPress without breaking critical custom functionality. I successfully installed a newer version of the Stripe Gateway plugin, but now the credit card fields are displaying on two separate checkout pages, causing confusion. I need it removed from the third (redundant) checkout screen. I’ve attached screenshots for reference.
Scope of Work:
Identify and remove the extra Stripe credit card input section from the incorrect checkout screen
Ensure Stripe payments still function correctly on the intended checkout page
Prevent any future plugin conflicts or display issues with the current WordPress setup
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Deep knowledge of WooCommerce and Stripe integration
Experience troubleshooting payment gateway conflicts in legacy WordPress environments
Understanding of plugin override hooks and template customization
