Fix Sudden Wordpress Database Error on AWS Lightsail

I'm looking for help with an issue I'm having on my website, hosted on AWS Lightsail. I'm receiving the 'Error Establishing a Database Connection' message whenever I try to access the site, and I'm sure this is due to an error connecting with the server.
