Editing ajax post filters in a WordPress website

Job ID: 30952634

I have Ajax filters on a page which works with the standard WP blog posts and 3 custom post types (4 resources type) which is one of the dropdowns in the filter. The other one is categories. In the results there's a section showing 2 featured categories and below all the other posts (loading only WP posts by default) and it's loaded using masonry layout. Here's the page: https://visuadev.wpengine.com/resources. Featured section shows for a moment during loading and is then replaced with all the posts from blog (as this is work in progress...)

What needs to be done:
1. This page needs to load all post types instead of just one (all 4 checkboxes should be ticked).
2. The featured section (showing 2 latest) need to change along with posts as filters are used showing whatever featured posts it can find in the selected criteria. As mentioned that section loads all posts at the moment so it needs to be fixed to load only "featured" ones with the layout that is already created for it (image with the right layout attached). If there's nothing to show (criteria not met) than this needs to show other featured (can't be left empty) but showing max. 2
3. Two dropdowns with Types and Categories to show the number of posts in brackets available in that category/type next to the name after using filters (mockup attached). That number should change to show how many there is. If after using filters the number is 0 then that type or category should be made grey (or fade it)
