I am looking for someone who can create the best nice excellent website for me. We have a few Companies registered in the UK. Eg: Furniture Business and worldwide visa services travel agency. I am looking for someone who has good knowledge and experience.
As a Front-End Developer, you will work closely with our design team to bring creative web designs to life, primarily building on Shopify and WordPress. Your keen eye for design and strong technical skills will help ensure that each project meets our high standards for quality, usability, and functionality. Your role will be critical in bridging the gap between design and development to produce well-rounded and aesthetically pleasing digital products.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain websites, primarily on Shopify and WordPress platforms, ensuring functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
Collaborate closely with the lead designer to interpret design mockups into pixel-perfect front-end code.
Customise and implement themes, plugins, and modules, particularly for Shopify and WordPress, to support client needs.
Optimise sites for speed, SEO, and user experience.
Ensure accessibility standards are met and perform regular updates and maintenance to ensure site stability.
Work with the development team to integrate APIs and other external tools where necessary. As well as perform any crucial security measures.
Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in front-end development, eCommerce, and CMS platforms.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years in front-end development, with a strong portfolio of work on Shopify and WordPress websites.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Strong experience in Shopify Liquid and WordPress theme development.
Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, or similar.
Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
Familiarity with Git version control.
Design Knowledge:
Ability to understand and interpret design mockups, with a strong eye for layout, typography, and colour.
Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools is a plus.
Other Platforms: Experience with additional platforms like WooCommerce, Squarespace, or Webflow is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude toward improving design and development processes.
Comfortable working in a team and taking direction from the lead designer.
