Development of a Real-Estate Properties Listing Wordpress Plugin

This proposal outlines the development of a WordPress plugin designed to create a properties listing portal that will be integrated into an already existing WordPress website.
The contents of the site per se must be in Spanish. However, the code including comments may be in either English or Spanish.
The plugin will connect to an external API to download property data in XML format, process this data, and present it in a user-friendly manner on a dedicated page within the site. The project aims to provide an efficient and effective way for users to browse and inquire about properties.

The plugin will consist of four main components:
1. Administration Area: This section will allow administrators to input the API key required to connect to the external web service. It will also feature a play/pause button to enable or disable the scheduled connection to the API, which will occur every 30 minutes to update the property listings.
2. Property Listing: The main listing will display each property as an item in a list format on a dedicated page within the existing WordPress site. Each item will include:
◦ A photo of the property
◦ Property name
◦ Number of rooms
◦ Number of bathrooms
◦ Total square meters
The listing will support pagination to ensure a smooth user experience when browsing through multiple properties.
3. Property Search Form: A search form will be integrated into the plugin, allowing users to filter properties based on specific criteria such as:
◦ Location
◦ Price range
◦ Number of rooms
◦ Number of bathrooms
◦ Property type (e.g., apartment, house, etc.)
4. Detail View: When a user clicks on a property, they will be taken to a detailed view that includes:
◦ A photo gallery of the property
◦ The same information as in the listing (name, rooms, bathrooms, square meters)
◦ A detailed description of the property
◦ Any additional data retrieved from the XML
This view will also include a contact form for inquiries, a print button, a PDF download button, and an email send button for easy communication.
