Developer Needed for Headless WordPress with React
Budget: $35 – $55 USD
We are seeking a freelance developer to help us maintain existing client websites and to help with support, maintenance, updates, and new features of a growing headless application. While most of our platforms are hosted on WordPress at WPEngine, we do have some dedicated machines and virtual instances (all CentOS based).
The developer we are seeking has deep experience with WordPress, its plugins, and page builders, as well as mastery of next.js. WordPress in this instance is being used by client marcom teams to manage content while the react application controls what content is displayed on dashboards, eCommerce transactions, and some custom functionality. We are also seeking to solve a support-related issue of handling on-demand requests and a possible SLA.
We will also need help building out several more platforms for a few specific clients and a mobile application will be one of them. Experience with Android and iOS integrations/solutions with react applications will be a plus. Experience working with ad agencies and familiarity with the process is key. Also, the ability to communicate with different team members will be important. Only limited direct client communication would be necessary. Because of our integrated team member model, we are seeking to fill this role with an individual or freelancer.
