Develop WordPress custom news website
Budget: ₹10,000 – ₹20,000 INR
1. To be developed in WordPress. You need to provide/develop a theme as well. I don't have one.
2. A news website with sections (menu): Jobs, Scholarships, Fellowships, Notifications (general news) & blogs. All sections must be native and not as user-defined pages (we can discuss it to explain further what I mean).
3. A section for business profiles (where we can add businesses that can be linked in stories we post, like justdial.com). doesn’t need to be a native page necessarily, can be a custom page.
4. Jobs will have defined locations and skills categories as parameters. If possible, can be defined as tags that we can select using the available drop-down menu (or similar) while publishing a story.
5. All sections should have their own RSS feeds (same as in the existing website).
6. Jobs section must be integrated into google jobs.
7. Website theme (newspaper theme primarily) should be built to render/load within 1 sec for better SEO.
8. Mobile-friendly (responsive design). 99% of traffic is via mobile devices.
9. AMP plugin should work throughout the website and not just on a particular section only.
10. APIs for mobile apps.
11. Social sharing icons in the detailed view pages (and NOT as a pop-up plugin).
12. Few static pages to be placed in the footer (about us, privacy policy, etc.)
13. A form page with a simple captcha (to let users submit their stories/posts). Data (well formatted) should be sent to my official email after form submission (You can integrate existing google form as well or create new. Whichever is easy for you).
14. Facebook comment box integration.
15. Use Ubuntu font throughout the website with high contrast black colour text.
16. Code must be readable, scalable, testable and reusable.
17. Published stories images must auto-delete after 30 days automatically (from the database as well) and should display "archived" when a user browses such stories.
