Customize WooCommerce Checkout Page Styling

Hello, I have an eCommerce store and I need to change the style of the WooCommerce checkout page for it to reflect something like the photo I have attached(titled current checkout page).
Please specify the method you will use to do so(code change, plugin,etc) and how I will be able to manage the changes after the project is complete. It would be great if it could be entirely CSS-based so nothing breaks on the site and goes straight into the theme customizer.
Note: The changes need to be responsive so the design looks the same both on laptops and smartphones.
