Change Wordpress URL + Notify google via Change of Address Tool

Hi there,

I need help with a small project.

I have a wordpress website hosted on Digital Ocean + Server Pilot

I need to change the URL address from .com to .co.nz

I have purchased the new domain name, need help moving it.

All the DNS records/Nameservers for both domains are in Digital Ocean > Networking

You will need to do the following:

Change URL settings in Wordpress
Change URL in wp-config.php
Change URL in function.php (if needed)
Update the .htaccess file for redirection
Notify google (search engines) of URL change via Change of Address Tool
Implement a 301 redirect
Redirect old URL to new address
