Car Dealer WordPress Website Changes and Additions
Budget: $249 – $250 USD
Hi,
I need the following changes and addition to my website https://sonysauto.com
The website is complete about 80-90%. A lot of changes are minor and some require just changing he settings and can be done in few hours and the rest could take few days or maybe more, depending on your experience and expertise with such websites.
1. Capital letter to be removed from most of the page
Arrow to go Up. Only Arrow. No box to hide anything.
Logo Could have link to Home Page.
Some more Boxes could go Blue on Hover like MAKE AN OFFER box.
Loan Calculator Box to be renamed as Model Specification and I should be able to upload a PDF or JPEG there. The link to upload this document has to be on the ADD YOUR ITEM page.
Full Stop to be removed and put comma in Price.
“Video Review” title for YouTube box. Should play YT video and should work with ADD VIDEO link in front.
The 4 Pictures in first row has hyperlink on the bottom part of the picture only.
Need Shadows for the rest of the boxes and lines on the website.
Remove Car Location and Loan Calculator sections and the 3 boxes on top and maybe few other things.
Check Mark on Car Features need to be spaced out little and lined up like the theme.
All elements need uniformity and lined up and need to straighten some sections, remove some gaps, remove some overlapping, resize some icons and other things like this to make it look good and general fine tuning of the little things here and there.
2. I should be able to type in alphanumeric stock codes (like ABC123456) for each vehicle in the STOCK ID box on ADD YOUR ITEM page on front-end. Right now I can only add numbers. And I should be able to search a car with this Stock ID from website search box.
Whatever I type in Listing Title Box should show in the front-end and not “Make Model Year” as it shows now.
Need 10 Blank Boxes Below Features List to add any special Features for a car. This is like the orange Box in the Car Overview Section below this Features section.
Divide this Features Section into 4 or 5 paragraphs.
Add Your Item page – needs to auto save every 1 minute while uploading a car.
Need direct link to "Edit/Add Features" and "RE-ORDER the Features" from this page/section.
Make a Copy of the complete ADD YOUR ITEM page in the Back-end.
Bulk Actions (Delete) option for “My Items” in front, like in the back-end.
3. Hyperlinks to some items/words in the Drop-down Search menu not working properly. Menu opens and closes slow. Box shadows needs to look same as the car image box. Make the letters little bigger and the check box with border like Automotive theme. First Box should close when the second opens. Scroll Down on Drop-down menu, like Automotive theme, instead of the Long Box opening the full length. Small Refresh/Reset Button to be added as Fifth Box on Search line.
Need Sorting by Year of the Car also.
Honda as make Selection should show only Honda Models and so on.
Number of Make and Models should show in bracket in the Drop-down Menu for each search Parameter like this website https://www.japanesecartrade.com/stock_list.php
In front-end Need EDIT and DELETE Button direct on top right corner. And only when you login, you should be able to see ADD YOUR ITEM, EDIT and DELETE buttons, otherwise only the box asking you to Register.
4. Need only the Slider like Automotive theme to be the Landing page with Menu links on top and bottom. Exactly like this site - https://siqtra.com The other pages could have the same Slider on top and the cars listed on the bottom.

The above is the Motors theme which is used for this website. I did not buy this theme. My first Freelancer had it.
Show 16 cars per page as default and choice to select 48 and 100 from a drop-down menu like www.beforward.jp
The present main/home page will become “Vehicles in Japan” page and make the setup on other pages same as this page.
Should be able to move one car from one page to another and have one car on multiple pages.
Need Menu Links in the bottom also.
“Print Page” needs to print the basic car details in 1 page only like https://www.japanesecartrade.com/6583492-japan-used-honda-fit-hatchback-2014.html
Loan Calculator box to be renamed as Model Specification. I will upload an Image or a PDF and Link for this box should be on front on ADD YOUR ITEM.
One More Line of Cars at the bottom on Car Details page that shows “Recently Reserved/Sold”
Popup Text Bubble or flashing of a car or something like that, some flashy element to highlight a car and bring attention to some special features or info about any car.
Money Back Guarantee Banner/Sign somewhere on the website to be decided later.
Want to see how Light background and Dark letters look on car picture box.
5. There are few problems at the way the site appears on Mobile which also needs fixing.
There could be few other things that I do not remember at this time and I may remember later and there are few other smaller things that I have not mentioned above. All those will need to be done, but if it is a big change or addition, then I will pay extra for it. There will definitely be more work on the website after this is complete but I can create a new job for that and pay extra for it.
I prefer a Freelancer who works from home and has no boss and does not need to share his earnings with someone else and can work/communicate during early mornings and Saturday and Sunday as that is the time I am available to discuss the work details.
