"On Call" Assistant Webmaster needed for Wordpress blog posts - Part-Time
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This is an ongoing job (not a one-time project).
A prominent news company in California is looking for a Part-Time Assistant Webmaster. We are seeking an educated, reliable, hard-working, self-motivated individual who can help us post Daily News on our website.
You must be available to post news on our website 3 days a week (Monday – Wednesday). You will be dependent on our Editorial team to send you news anywhere between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. PST, Monday – Wednesday. You will essentially be "On Call" during these hours.
We use Wordpress. You will post 8 stories a day. The news content will be delivered to you in a Word Document via email. Images will be provided for each story. You must be available and ready to start posting the news within 1-2 hours of receiving it and complete all of the stories no later than 5:00 p.m. PST daily, Monday - Wednesday.
It is extremely important that you be ready and available to post news ASAP on a daily basis. We would like to find someone who is an animation / tech enthusiast, has strong attention to detail, is responsible, fast and technically competent.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND SOFTWARE:
- Wordpress experience is a must! (You must be experienced with all aspects of creating a Wordpress post, including Title, Post Content, Tagging, SEO information, Categorizing, adding Images, etc.
- Photoshop
- DreamWeaver
This is a telecommuting job – meaning you will be working from home. You must have a fast and reliable computer (PC and/or Mac based) and high-speed internet access.
The pay is $10 per Wordpress post ($80 per day for 8 posts total).
