CBT Website Upgrade (Wordpress)
Budget: $80 – $150 USD
Background:
https://ceballosbartrends.com was hacked some months ago, and we need to:
Remove malware,
1. Upgrade it to latest version of wordpress,
2. Add working payment gateway (Paymongo) on site - this already has a Wordpress extension
Problems:
1. Can’t install paymongo because the wordpress version is outdated.
2. Can’t update wordpress because the PHP version is outdated.
3. Can’t update PHP because the current Ubuntu OS in Digital Ocean Droplet is outdated.
4. Website was hacked and there might still be remaining malware code, because it redirects to other websites occasionally
5. Expired SSL Cert
6. Hacked Meta Tags, Title, Description
Todos:
1. Update Ubuntu OS in Digital Ocean Droplet to latest version.
2. Update PHP version to at least latest.
3. Update Wordpress version to latest version
4. Restore wordpress website from backup.
5. Install and integrate Paymongo to the website.
6. Remove malware/ redirects
7. Renew SSL Cert; set up auto-renewal of SSL Cert
8. Fix Meta Tags, Titles, Description
Possible solutions:
Backup old wordpress, and restore into a new Droplet with updated Ubuntu OS, PHP, and Wordpress version, then install Paymongo.
NOTE: No data should be lost. And by the end of the project, we must have a fully working website with integrated payment gateway
