Build Wordpress Blog theme

I need to build my website from scratch with theme pertaining to Travel and creative writing both. For a start, it would be just about building the site, migrating content from old wordpress blog and adding dynamic content retrieval tags to it.
The theme building may require some experience on sorting columns and category-based pages.
Later on, if we like the candidate's work - can see into adding more features to it related to plugins, security and analytics.
