Assist with Wordpress Core and Plugin Updates (Thrive Page Builder and Astra Theme)
Budget: $30 – $75 AUD
Hi,
We have a pretty basic website that needs the following done (and tested):
Plugins:
1. Update to latest Thrive Architect
2. Update to latest Thrive Product Manager
Wordpress Core update:
Update from WP 5.6.5 to 5.8.1
Update Astra Theme:
Update from 3.0.1 to 3.7.3
Also, we will need a plugin or process to make a 2 template type of posts that can be duplicated to use for a new posts.
One would be a product review / recommendation post (in the current format on the site). The other would be for an informational / education blog post template.
You would need to take a complete backup of the website. You would need to test the site and the comparability of ALL current themes and plugins too. Attention to detail is key here.
Finally, you would need to test and make required updates to improve the current page speeds on Google's page speed insights: https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
Current page speeds score for Desktop is 89 (so this should not be too hard to get very close to 100) and the Mobile score is 61 (so we need to get this into the 95%+ or above range).
You will be very familiar with Core Web Vitals and understand how to address all of the above. When you bid on this project, please say Your WP Mechanic Guru Understand What You Need at the beginning of your bid. If you do automated bids, we will ignore your bid completely. Do not PM us.
Please provide proof of the sites you have worked on with Astra Theme and Thrive Architect. We want and need you to be extremely familiar with both of these.
Finally, we will need you to provide us with instructions on using the unpublished post templates moving forward. This is a very basic and simple task for an experienced WP coder who knows what they are doing.
