Job Title: Implement Abandoned Cart Emails for Guest Users in WooCommerce using Klaviyo and WP Amelia
Description:
We are looking for an experienced WooCommerce and Klaviyo developer to help us implement an abandoned cart recovery email solution for guest users on our WooCommerce website. We use WP Amelia for appointment booking, which is integrated with WooCommerce for processing payments. The goal is to track guest users who fill out their appointment details in WP Amelia but abandon the cart before completing payment. We want to trigger automated emails via Klaviyo reminding them to complete their booking.
Key Tasks:
1. WP Amelia and WooCommerce Integration:
• Ensure that when a user books an appointment through WP Amelia and abandons the checkout without completing the payment, their details (name, email, and booking info) are captured for abandoned cart recovery.
• Ensure that guest user data entered on the WP Amelia booking form (name, email) is passed to WooCommerce before payment is made so it can be used for cart recovery emails.
2. WooCommerce and Klaviyo Integration:
• Set up and configure Klaviyo for WooCommerce plugin to ensure seamless data flow between WooCommerce and Klaviyo.
• Ensure both logged-in and guest users are tracked when they enter their email during the WP Amelia booking process and do not complete payment.
3. Install and Configure WooCommerce Abandoned Cart Plugin:
• Install and configure a WooCommerce abandoned cart plugin (such as WooCommerce Cart Abandonment Recovery by CartFlows or a similar plugin).
• Ensure the plugin captures guest user email information when users abandon the WP Amelia appointment process at checkout after entering their details.
4. Customize Klaviyo Abandoned Cart Flow:
• Set up an Abandoned Cart Email Flow in Klaviyo, which will trigger automatically when a cart is abandoned by a guest user who has filled out the WP Amelia booking form but hasn’t completed payment.
• Customize the email flow with dynamic content that pulls in booking data (e.g., appointment type, selected date/time) as well as abandoned cart data like:
• Customer name (if available).
• Appointment details (from WP Amelia).
• A link back to the cart to complete the booking.
• Ensure the emails include proper cart recovery messages and links for users to easily complete their booking.
5. Test Abandoned Cart Emails for Guest Users:
• Perform testing to ensure that abandoned cart emails are sent to guest users who abandon their WP Amelia booking after entering their email.
• Ensure that the email captures the correct appointment details and WooCommerce cart information.
• Fix any bugs or issues related to tracking guest users or email triggers in Klaviyo.
Deliverables:
• Fully integrated WP Amelia with WooCommerce and Klaviyo, ensuring guest user appointment details are captured and stored for abandoned cart recovery.
• Working abandoned cart recovery emails for guest users who leave their booking without completing the payment via Klaviyo, with dynamic content reflecting the user’s cart and booking info.
• Proper testing and troubleshooting to ensure emails are triggered only when a cart is abandoned (after the user enters their email but does not complete payment).
• Documentation of any custom code or configurations implemented for future reference.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in WooCommerce development and integrating it with Klaviyo.
• Experience with WP Amelia for appointment booking and WooCommerce integration.
• Ability to work with and customize Klaviyo flows, including dynamic content and API integration.
• Strong knowledge of guest user tracking, WooCommerce checkout processes, and session handling.
• Strong troubleshooting and testing skills to ensure smooth implementation.
Additional Notes:
• Please provide examples of similar projects you’ve worked on, especially with WP Amelia and WooCommerce.
• Let us know your estimated timeline for completing this task and any additional recommendations you might have to improve cart recovery for our site.
We look forward to working with someone who can help us improve our conversion rates by reaching out to customers who abandon their bookings, especially guest users using WP Amelia.
This version explains how WP Amelia is used for appointment bookings and specifies how user data entered into WP Amelia should be passed to WooCommerce for abandoned cart recovery and triggering Klaviyo emails.
