I call myself Lessons Learnt as I've had my fingers burnt many times, while fighting for myself and others. However, this time I went to the employment tribunal, lost and now have the legal fees to pay. The goal was to be able to share this experience and encourage others to stand up for themselves.

I work for DWP whose staff turnover is ridiculous. I am actually being paid below the London living wage. The grievance procedure is designed to fail and also once you raise one they isolate you. They don't ask they order you to do things. Managers don't manage, but complain when you get something wrong. This is a place where adults tell tails and mature conversations don't exist. I still work there.

I refuse to be bullied out of a job I didn't apply for. I was a claimant. They wanted me and now they've got me. I'm confused, why do the government make rules they don't abide by? I've seen too many broken people in one place and refuse to be one of them. I am not leaving until I'm good and ready. I encourage everyone to conquer their fears. Great things come from being uncomfortable. I'm still fighting.

If we don't like it do you think it's fair to leave it for someone else to walk into? Do we want change? What legacy are we leaving for the next generation? This is not about winning or losing, this is about trying.

I'm going to be podcasting about my life, and why I can't stop pursuing injustice. I will be naming and shaming organisations - to change. Please feel free to join me, you are more than welcome: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/dashboard/episodes

I need you and we need each other. Unity brings transformation. If anyone can help with technical assistance, that would be great. I want you, to see things for yourself and not just take my word for it. Courage2Challenge is all-inclusive.

Thank you for taking your precious time to read this far.
