WordPress Homepage Video Section Modification
Budget: $10 – $100 USD
Project Description:
I am looking for an experienced WordPress developer/designer to modify the homepage of an existing website by adding a new video section.
The website is built with WordPress and uses the Impreza theme.
Project Overview:
The new section will showcase videos representing 5 main service categories of the company.
Under each category, 3 featured videos will be displayed.
One of the categories contains many videos, so it should link to a separate dedicated page where all videos from that category will be displayed.
Required Work:
The developer will be responsible for creating three designs/pages:
Custom Design (Developer’s Own Design):
Create a modern, clean video section designed from scratch.
The design should fit naturally with the existing homepage and overall website style.
Implementation of an Existing Design (JPG):
I will provide a JPG design.
This design must be implemented exactly as provided, without visual changes or reinterpretation.
Dedicated Page for One Video Category:
A separate page that displays all videos for the category that contains many videos.
The page should be well-structured, clear, and easy to navigate.
Design & Workflow:
After the contract is awarded, I would like to review a few initial design concepts or mockups and select the one that best fits my vision before moving forward with full implementation.
This applies to the custom-designed section only.
Video Layout & Behavior:
Below each video thumbnail, there will be basic information about the video.
Clicking on a video thumbnail should open and play the video in a popup/modal, without redirecting to another page.
Video Hosting:
All videos are already hosted on Vimeo and will be embedded using Vimeo links.
No videos will be hosted directly on the website server.
Selection Process:
Please include a brief explanation of your design approach and how you would structure the video section.
If I am deciding between two strong candidates, I may request a simple design concept or wireframe. This will be very high-level or handled as a paid concept, depending on the case.
Payment Terms:
Payment will be released only after the project is fully completed, delivered as agreed, and approved by me. I value clear communication, proper delivery, and a professional workflow.
Technical Requirements:
Strong experience with WordPress
Experience working with the Impreza theme
Clean, well-structured, and maintainable code
Fully responsive design (desktop, tablet, mobile)
Important Notes:
Please do not mention the website name in your proposal.
The website reference will only be shared privately for preview purposes.
Clear communication and attention to detail are very important.
