WordPress Homepage & Blog Fix
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
My WordPress site for MyMechaTech needs a clean-slate refresh. The homepage layout has gone out of shape, the load time is sluggish, and a handful of links and call-to-action buttons no longer respond. Elementor only compounded the problem, so the rebuild must rely on WordPress’ native Block (Gutenberg) editor or lightweight custom code—no page-builder plugins this time.
I want a single-column layout that feels streamlined and fast. The hero area can stay simple, but it should immediately flow into a “Latest Blog Posts” block that pulls the newest articles automatically. While you are in there, the entire blog section needs a once-over: tidy up categories, fix any template inconsistencies, and be sure every post loads quickly and error-free.
Acceptance criteria:
• Homepage rebuilt in native editor with single-column structure and dynamic “Latest Blog Posts” feed
• All broken links and buttons repaired or redirected correctly
• PageSpeed Insights score noticeably higher on both mobile and desktop
• Blog archive and single-post templates display consistently, free of layout glitches
• No Elementor (or similar heavy builders) left active; codebase kept lean
• A brief hand-off note explaining any custom snippets or settings touched
If this sounds straightforward to you and you’re comfortable working directly in WordPress/Gutenberg with a focus on speed, let’s get the homepage—and the blog—back on track.
