WooCommerce Expert: 600-Product Site Redesign & Migration (Ubuntu 24.04 Environment)

Job ID: 40241555

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I am looking for my client a skilled WooCommerce and Wordpress Developer to revamp an existing online store. The site has been recovered and is currently live. He is moving to a fresh design/theme on a brand-new WordPress installation.

The Project Scope:
Design & Setup: Install and configure a modern, high-converting WooCommerce theme/builder. I prefer Bricks Builder, Breakdance, or Elementor (only if optimized for a 90+ PageSpeed score).

Product Migration: Cleanly import approximately 600 products (Simple & some Variable) from the existing site via CSV. Data includes: Titles, Prices, Sale Prices, Descriptions, and Categories.

Image Logic: I will handle moving the physical wp-content/uploads folder at the server level. You will be responsible for ensuring the product import correctly maps to these local paths without creating duplicates or redundant downloads.

Site Structure: Build out the new homepage, category pages, and single product templates.

Design & Setup: Install and configure a modern, high-converting theme. The focus is on "Premium Electronics." The design must be clean, sleek, and high-end (think Apple or DJI style). It must feature high-impact product galleries and a "luxury tech" aesthetic that builds immediate trust.

Technical Environment:
OS: Ubuntu 24.04 (managed via PuTTY/SSH).

Setup: I will provide a fresh WordPress installation. You will handle the WP-Admin side and design.

Linux Know-How: Knowledge of the Linux filesystem, permissions (chown/chmod), and WP-CLI is a definite plus and will make our collaboration much smoother.

Requirements:
Proven experience with WooCommerce migrations and product mapping.

Deep understanding of WordPress database relationships (Posts, PostMeta, and Attributes).

Ability to build lightweight, fast-loading pages.

Strong communication skills.

Please answer the following in your proposal:
1- Which Page Builder do you recommend for this project and why?

2- How do you plan to handle the product import so that it recognizes the images I move manually via the terminal?

3- Briefly describe your experience working in a Linux/Ubuntu server environment.
