mail merge

We have a complicated template for sending out a formal message to students. Would like some expert advice on setting up the template for mail merge. The document is short (usually 1-2 pages long), but needs to make use of MS Word template features that make use of conditional statements (If...then...else). Would like to hire someone with experience using these MS word features (mailmerge from excel table).
