Format & Edit Non-Fiction Manuscript
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I have a completed non-fiction manuscript that I want polished and packaged for Kindle Direct Publishing. I need you to handle both sides of that process: a professional edit that catches lingering issues and a clean, industry-standard layout ready for KDP upload.
The editing brief is flexible—I’m open to your recommendation on whether a straightforward proofread, a deeper copy-edit, or a light developmental pass will serve the book best. What matters is that the final text reads smoothly, is error-free, and flows naturally for a general audience.
Once the words are locked, the manuscript must be formatted for both eBook and paperback. That means a reflowable Kindle file (EPUB/KPF) plus a print-ready PDF with proper trim size, margins, headers, pagination, and an embedded, hyperlinked table of contents. If you prefer InDesign, Vellum, Kindle Create, or a well-styled Word workflow, I’m happy to follow your lead as long as the finished files upload to KDP without tweaks or rejection flags.
