I need a captivating children’s story for early readers aged 7–9 that sends them on a page-turning journey of adventure and exploration. The manuscript should balance engaging action with clear, age-appropriate language so kids can read independently yet still feel challenged.

Target length: roughly 1,500–2,500 words spread across 24–32 pages. While I am primarily after the writing, the book must ultimately be paired with realistic, detailed illustrations, so each scene you script should include a short art note describing the setting, characters, and atmosphere to guide an illustrator. Think vivid natural landscapes, expressive faces, and dynamic compositions that pull readers straight into the action.
