Convert Word Doc to HTML

I have a single Microsoft Word document that mixes body text with several images. I need it converted into clean, standards-compliant HTML. Every image should be embedded directly in the page (base64 or data-URI is fine) so the file remains completely self-contained; no external links or asset folders.

The layout may follow the fixed dimensions of the original Word file—there’s no requirement for responsive styling. Inline CSS is acceptable if you need light formatting, but keep it tidy and readable.

Acceptance criteria:
• One HTML file that, when opened locally in any modern browser, displays the text and images exactly as they appear in the Word document.
• All images encoded/embedded within the same file.
• Source code properly indented, free of unnecessary Word markup.
