Compile WhatsApp Chat into Word
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I have a very large WhatsApp export—more than 900 pages of messages—together with all associated images. I need the entire conversation turned into a single, clean .docx file that reads just like the chat: text in chronological order with each image appearing inline exactly where it was originally sent.
Source material
• The standard “_chat.txt” file supplied by WhatsApp
• An accompanying media folder that holds all the images referenced in the chat
Scope of work
– Import the text, preserving the original timestamps, sender names and message order.
– Locate every image call-out (e.g., “<image omitted>” or equivalent) and replace it with the actual image, embedded at an appropriate size so the document remains readable yet compact.
– Apply only standard Word formatting—nothing fancy. Normal body text, automatic page breaks, and default fonts are fine as long as the file is tidy and consistent.
Deliverable
A single Microsoft Word document (.docx) containing the full conversation with images integrated inline, ready for immediate reading or printing.
Acceptance criteria
• All messages appear in the original sequence.
• Every image is present, positioned where the message references it, and displays correctly.
• Document opens without errors in Word 2016+ and stays under a manageable file size.
