E-commerce Site Prototype Test
Budget: €750 – €1,500 EUR
I want to run a small-scale experiment: build a pared-down e-commerce website so I can assess the full development workflow on Freelancer. The site does not have to go live; it only has to demonstrate the core behaviour of a modern online store.
The project is strictly E-commerce, and I am flexible on the underlying tech—Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or whichever stack you think will let us stand up a clean demo fastest. Code quality and clarity matter more to me than flashy visuals.
Please deliver:
• A lightweight, responsive storefront with 3–5 sample products
• Product detail template with price, description and image gallery
• Working cart and sandbox checkout that records test orders
• Clear hand-off: admin credentials and a brief read-me explaining how to add more products or switch to live payments
Acceptance is simple: I can add an item to the cart, complete a test checkout without errors, and view the order in the admin panel.
If this goes smoothly I’ll spin the prototype into a full build, so consider this an opportunity to demonstrate your best practice approach.
