WordPress Website Revamp for Stability

I run a publishing house and we already have a WordPress website that is up and running. However, we’ve been facing recurring issues because the current theme used on the website is no longer being updated or supported.

As a result, every time WordPress, WooCommerce, or PHP updates, parts of the site stop functioning, and the only way to restore it is by rolling back to an older backup. This is not sustainable in the long run.

I am looking to hire a freelancer who can:

1. Migrate my website to a modern, stable, and regularly updated WordPress theme (such as Astra, GeneratePress, Storefront, or another reliable theme you recommend).

2. Retain the overall look, design, and content of the current website so that my brand identity remains consistent.

3. Ensure compatibility with WooCommerce, my current plugins, and future WordPress/PHP updates.

4. Set up the website in a way that it is secure, stable, and future-proof, so we don’t face these breakdown issues again.

5. Provide guidance on best practices for updates and maintenance going forward.
