WordPress Speed & Plugin Optimization

Job ID: 39797765

Budget: $15 – $25 AUD

My WooCommerce site runs on more than fifty plugins, and the mix of add-ons is beginning to drag everything down. I need the entire stack streamlined so page load speed improves, plugin conflicts disappear, and server response time stops spiking under traffic.

The job starts with a deep performance audit: measure current metrics, isolate slow queries, and pinpoint any plugins or theme functions that overlap or collide. I have not yet identified the culprits, so discovery is part of the brief. Once the bottlenecks are clear, I want lean, well-commented code to replace unnecessary plugins, compatibility fixes for the ones we keep, and server-side tuning where it makes sense (object caching, database optimisation, NGINX/Apache rules, etc.).

After the site is running fast, I need ongoing care—routine updates, preventive maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting whenever something breaks. Please document every change, keep version control tidy, and supply a concise hand-over report that shows before-and-after metrics along with the revised plugin list.

Deliverables:
• Initial audit report with clear performance baselines
• Refactored or custom-coded replacements for redundant plugins
• Updated production site hitting agreed speed targets (e.g., <2 s first byte, 90+ PSI mobile)
• Maintenance roadmap and troubleshooting protocol for future support

Core stack: WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, MySQL/MariaDB. Familiarity with profiling tools such as Query Monitor, WP-CLI, or New Relic will be useful, but any proven approach that achieves the results is welcome.
