WordPress Redesign, Hosting Migration & Square Storefront Integration

Job Description
We are rebuilding an existing WordPress site with a broken theme and migrating it off HostGator.
This project will be executed in clearly defined phases, not milestones. Each phase must be completed, reviewed, and approved before the next phase begins.
Core Objectives
• Replace broken WordPress theme with a modern, supported theme
• Migrate hosting away from HostGator
• New host must:
o Support multiple websites under a single management interface
o Provide built-in domain-based email hosting
• Integrate Square as a digital storefront using WooCommerce
• Preserve SEO and site stability

REQUIRED PHASE STRUCTURE
Phase 0 – Validation & Planning (Paid)
• Hosting recommendation (must support multi-site + email)
• Migration plan (staging → production)
• Theme recommendation
• Square integration approach
• List of access needed
Phase 1 – Hosting & Infrastructure Setup
• New host configured
• Staging environment live
• WordPress installed
• Domain email configured and tested
Phase 2 – Theme & Core Site Rebuild
• New theme installed
• Core pages built (Home, About, Blog, Contact)
• Mobile responsive and error-free
Phase 3 – Square Storefront Integration
• WooCommerce + Square connected
• Product catalog synced
• Cart and checkout functional
Phase 4 – Content Migration & SEO Protection
• Blog content migrated
• URLs preserved or redirected
• SEO plugin configured
Phase 5 – Launch & Handoff
• DNS cutover
• Live Square payments verified
• Documentation delivered
• Freelancer access removed

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
• WordPress (latest stable)
• WooCommerce + Square for WooCommerce
• Hosting must include domain email
• Staging required
• No WP Engine, Kinsta, or email-less hosts
• No undocumented custom code
